Objective 1

Learn best practices and utilize tools that model creative agency environments and production studios.

There are multiple projects I have done that have utilized tools that model creative agency environments. Mood boards are a great tool to set the visual direction of the project. A wireframe is a tool that allows designers to effectively mockup an outline of a design as easily as possible. A sitemap helps you visualize the structure of your website and the necessary elements to include before you begin designing, content creation, or development work. A brand guide ensures that your company produces consistent cohesive work.

Objective 2

Create 2D, 3D and multi-media assets that incorporate compelling

storytelling for the promotion of people, products and organizations.

A logo is an important way to identify a brand and help build admiration for a business or product. Logos are also important aspects of storytelling. I used backdrops to help display my t-shirts on Esty. Take a look at the promotion of the new avatar poster I made on Photoshop!

Objective 3

Demonstrate the ability to build quality content that includes video, photography, web design and visual effects using the most advanced digital tools for media consumption.

I interned at Crazy About Kids Pulmonary Services. My main task was to update their website. Please scroll through to see the before and after.  Murphy was also in need of an updated website. Stace and I designed one. I created a website on Visual Studio Code using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for a countdown to our August SIP showcase. As an assignment I created a video to promote a fictitious company called Social Ignite.

Objective 4

Apply the principles and elements of design for both online and offline deliverables.

Throughout my internship at Crazy About Kids Pulmonary Services, while updating their website I had to keep in mind the principals of design. I work at Wegmans in the floral department and have had to learn how to display their merchandise. Ads also display the principals of design.

Objective 5 

Leverage the understanding of human behavior and conditioning to influence choice and decision-making using innovative methods and systems.

Advertising persuades human behavior. For this objective I have displayed different ads I have created throughout my time here at UAT.

Objective 6

Follow branding guidelines on all visual communication to maintain a consistent and cohesive message through design and execution.

Brand guides are important. I have had to follow brand guides for my SIP, production studio project Murphy as well as my job.
